PARIS (AP) - Paris Saint-Germain defender David Luiz will be out for a month with a hamstring injury, ruling him out of both legs of its Champions League quarterfinal against Barcelona.

The Brazil international, who can also play in midfield, limped off during PSG’s 3-2 win away to title rival Marseille on Sunday night, with central midfielder Thiago Motta also going off.

PSG coach Laurent Blanc said Tuesday that Motta will be about for “about 10 days,” ruling Motta out of the first leg against his former club on April 15.

Before that match, PSG has a French Cup semifinal against Saint-Etienne on Wednesday and then faces Bastia in the League Cup final on Saturday.

Blanc added that Uruguay striker Edinson Cavani will miss the Saint-Etienne game after hurting his thigh against Marseille.
