MINOT, N.D. (AP) - Minot authorities have charged one man but police say they are still looking for others involved in a string of church burglaries.

Twenty-three-year-old Ryan Every is charged with burglary and theft of services for his alleged connection to a burglary at Our Redeemer’s Church. Minot police Captain John Klug says they arrested the Grand Forks man Monday after they investigated him based on an anonymous tip

Authorities say seven churches have been targeted in the last several weeks, including three last Wednesday. One of the recent burglary attempts was thwarted by a pastor.

At least two businesses also have recently been burglarized.

Every is also charged with possession or marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

An attorney is noted listed for Every.
