COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) - Potential Republican presidential candidate Jeb Bush called for a stronger national defense during a stop in swing state Colorado where he had breakfast with military veterans.

Bush was at an International House of Pancakes Tuesday in Colorado Springs, where he also addressed how he identified himself as Hispanic on a Miami voter registration form. He says he made a mistake and he’s “not sure what the big deal is.”

He says he’ll elaborate on his foreign policy views should he become a presidential candidate.

Bush is in Colorado for his Right to Rise political action committees, which he’s using to make contributions to Republican Party leaders in presidential battlegrounds.

After Colorado Springs, he’s going to a downtown Denver hotel to speak to employees from energy companies.
