MASON CITY, Iowa (AP) - A Mason City woman was treated at a hospital after three dogs knocked her down and bit her several times.

The Mason City Globe Gazette reports (https://bit.ly/1a0TDFi ) that 29-year-old Stefanie Murray was taken to Mercy Medical Center-North Iowa after the attack on Monday afternoon. Murray was treated and released.

Police say Murray and the dogs’ owners are neighbors in neighborhood on the north side of Mason City. Sheriff’s Deputy Brian Koob described the three dogs as Jack Russell terrier mixes that weigh between 20 and 30 pounds.

The incident is being investigated.
