HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (AP) - The Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville has been presented with an award for its work with small businesses by NASA Administrator Charles Bolden.

Bolden visited the center on Tuesday morning. NASA officials said in a statement that the Marshall Space Flight Center also won the award in 2008, 2010 and 2012.

Marshall Center Director Patrick Scheuermann said in a statement that the role of small businesses is vital as the center continues building the Space Launch System. The rocket will eventually carry astronauts and cargo into deep space.
