YONKERS, N.Y. (AP) - A Yonkers man has pleaded guilty to manslaughter in the death of his infant daughter in 2013.

Clarence Thomas entered the plea on Monday. He faces four to 12 years in prison.

His daughter, Natalia Johns, was found dead by her mother on March 13, 2013.

The Journal News (https://lohud.us/1aF9J8W ) says an autopsy revealed head injuries and that authorities had previously found bruises on the baby’s body.

Her mother pleaded guilty in September to one count of endangering the welfare of a child.

Authorities say a second child of the parents died of sudden infant death syndrome in 2010.
