HOUSTON (AP) - The former head of a Houston software company has been sentenced to 10 years in federal prison after pleading guilty to transporting an employee for the purpose of drugging and sexually assaulting her.

Prosecutors say 68-year-old Henri De Sola Morris was sentenced Wednesday. The former president and chief executive officer of Edible Software Inc. pleaded guilty in December to one count of taking a person across state lines to commit a sex crime.

Other women had accused Morris of similar crimes, but other charges were dropped as part of a plea deal.

Prosecutors say Morris was a calculating sexual predator who brought rape drugs on business trips to use on employees. They say he physically abused and photographed them.
