SALT LAKE CITY (AP) - A Utah woman says she’s planning to fight a notice from her homeowners association requiring her to remove a U.S Navy flag from her front yard.

Lucia Sandoval of Lehi said Wednesday she put up the flag after her husband was deployed, but shortly after she got a letter from the association saying it violated rules requiring flags to be consistent in size and shape.

She says she’s not sure how her flag broke the rules, and she won’t take it down.

KUTV news reports (https://bit.ly/1y5HCKb) that a representative from the association told the television station he was looking into the matter, but declined to give his name or comment further.
