HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (AP) - Marshall has signed football coach Doc Holliday and athletic director Mike Hamrick to six-year contract extensions.

Marshall announced Wednesday the extensions through June 2021. Hamrick will receive a $30,000 raise to $300,000 annually. Holliday will earn a base salary of $755,500, a raise from $600,000, and can earn more through various incentives.

The school had said in December that it had agreed in principle to the extensions.

Hamrick returned to his alma mater in July 2009 and hired Holliday later that year.

Holliday led Marshall to a 13-1 record in 2014, including the Conference USA title and a win over Northern Illinois in the Boca Raton Bowl. He’s 40-25 overall at Marshall.
