CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) - Job seekers interested in careers in intelligence sharing, security analytics and public safety are being invited to a meet-and-greet with prospective employers.
The free event is set for Wednesday at the Columbia Gas building in the Kanawha City section of Charleston. It is organized by the West Virginia Intelligence Fusion Center, which is part of the state Department of Military Affairs and Public Safety.
Among the participating employers are the Navy, FBI, Drug Enforcement Administration, state attorney general’s office and the Kanawha County sheriff’s department.
Organizers hope the event can become an annual opportunity for state veterans, college graduates and students.
