ATLANTA (AP) - A firefighting training exercise is expected to create smoke plumes near the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.

Airport officials say firefighters will be participating in a certification exercise on Wednesday between 8 a.m. and noon.

Officials say heavy, dark smoke may be visible near the airport during the live burn drill.
