BUCKHANNON, W.Va. (AP) - A state park in northern West Virginia is adding electricity to some campsites.

The Barbour County Commission is funding 30-amp electrical boxes for six of Audra State Park’s 67 campsites.

Park Superintendent Jon Teets says the move will help attract weeklong campers to the park during the summer.

Audra State Park’s campground is open from mid-April through mid-October. Sites are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Campsites are $24 with electricity per night and $21 without it.
