LOVELAND, Colo. (AP) - The Larimer County coroner’s office has determined that a man who was killed during a confrontation with two Loveland police officers shot himself.

Police say 32-year-old Christopher S. Bush was struggling with officers who were investigating him Friday for an alleged child sex assault.

The Fort Collins Coloradoan reports (https://goo.gl/Q0NcgO ) that after Bush was told he was a suspect, he told the officers he was not feeling well and wanted to sit down. The officers say he then turned away, drew a handgun and shot himself as they tried to disarm him. Neither of the officers fired their weapon.

Bush did not have a criminal history in Colorado.

His death has been ruled a suicide.
