BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (AP) - Indiana University says ESPN contributor Sage Steele will speak at the school’s undergraduate commencement.

Steele graduated from IU’s School of Health, Physical Education and Recreation in 1995. She will give the graduation address at the May 9 ceremony at IU Memorial Stadium in Bloomington. Steele hosts “NBA Countdown” and is part of the cable sports network’s NBA coverage.

The (Bloomington) Herald-Times reports (https://bit.ly/1FpUF6w ) that Steele frequently returns to IU to receive awards and participate in events. Steele said in a news release that being asked to give the commencement address is “the greatest honor” she has ever received.
