JUNEAU, Alaska (AP) - A bill passed in the state House could enable certain veterans to order a special license plate.

The House on Wednesday passed a bill sponsored by a bipartisan group of lawmakers that would allow the Division of Motor Vehicles to issue a military license plate for several additional combat awards.

The bill would add three combat medals to the list of military license plates.
