NEW YORK (AP) - Prosecutors say a man convicted of murder for bludgeoning a love rival faces 25 years to life in prison.

Queens District Attorney Richard A. Brown said Thursday that 50-year-old Ronald Giddens of Far Rockaway has been found guilty of killing 47-year-old Tony Walker in December 2013.

They had argued over a woman who lived in Walker’s building.

Giddens was still wearing bloodstained sweatpants and sneakers when he was arrested the day after the crime.

He’ll be sentenced on May 13.
