NEW ORLEANS (AP) - The U.S. Attorney in New Orleans says a 39-year-old man is facing 19 years in prison after being sentenced on federal gun and drug convictions.

U.S. Attorney Kenneth Polite (poh-LEET’) said in a Wednesday news release that Gie (Gee) Preston of New Orleans was sentenced after being convicted in November 2014 on charges including conspiring to distribute cocaine and being a felon in possession of firearms.

Preston was sentenced by U.S. District Judge Stanwood Duval.
