BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) - North Dakota’s deer gun license lottery has been held and more than 1,400 antlerless licenses remain.
The state Game and Fish Department says resident applicants who were unsuccessful in the first lottery can apply for the remaining licenses.
The first lottery application process, for deer gun, muzzleloader, youth and landowner licenses, had more than 95,000 applicants, and more than 51,000 were unsuccessful. Individual results are available online at the Game and Fish website, www.gf.nd.gov.
Unsuccessful applicants can apply online for remaining licenses. Paper applications for the remaining licenses will be mailed on Aug. 10. The deadline for applying is Sept. 2.
