PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) - Police detectives arrested a man in connection with another man’s death in Portland last month.

Portland Police says 36-year-old Patrick Rembert was indicted by a Multnomah County grand jury on charges of manslaughter and assault. He was booked into jail on Friday and will be arraigned next week.

The investigation started on June 4, when officers responded to an assault near Old Town Chinatown. They found 54-year-old Marvin Holiday with serious injuries. He died at a hospital.

Investigators did not say what led them to arrest Rembert.
