NEBRASKA CITY, Neb. (AP) - The Nebraska Game and Parks Commission has banned target shooting from portions of Hamburg Bend Wildlife Management Area for safety issues.
The area sits southeast of Nebraska City in Otoe County.
Target shooting is prohibited within 100 yards of the north parking lot at the east end of County Road L and also within 100 yards of the termination of County Road N at the flood control levee.
The commission says the levee is not open to public use, including target shooting.
