1 missing, 1 injured after boating accident in North Texas

FORT WORTH, Texas (AP) - Authorities say one person has gone missing and another person has been injured after a boating accident on Eagle Mountain Lake in North Texas.

According to Texas Game Warden Cliff Swafford, the incident happened Sunday evening in the northern section of the lake near the border of Tarrant and Wise counties. Swafford said the boat was traveling at a high rate of speed and crashed into a wave before sinking.

Authorities say one man was transported to John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth and another person remained missing.
