PHILADELPHIA (AP) - Authorities have cleared a jackknifed tractor-trailer that injured one person and stalled traffic on the Schuylkill Expressway.

Police say the crash happened in the rain in the westbound lanes near the University Avenue exit around 4 a.m. Tuesday.

The truck blocked the lanes and the driver was taken to a hospital with leg and shoulder injuries.

The road reopened by 5:30 a.m.
