BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) - Agriculture Commissioner Doug Goehring has activated North Dakota’s Harvest Hotline, with a new feature this year.
The free service helps match farmers and custom harvesters. It’s been in use for nearly a quarter century.
The hotline number is (701) 425-8454. Agriculture Department staff will answer calls weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Callers can leave messages on evenings and weekends.
A new feature this year is a self-service Harvest Hotline map. It can be found by clicking on “Harvest Hotline” at https://www.nd.gov/ndda/ . Users may click on the black pinpoint icons to retrieve information about harvesters available in their area.
