BALTIMORE (AP) - Officials say a person has been struck and killed by a freight train in Baltimore.

CSX says the person was hit around 4:30 p.m. Wednesday in northwest Baltimore. The city’s Office of Emergency Management reports that the person was killed.

CSX says there were no injuries to the train crew. The freight train had two locomotives and eight empty cars and was making local deliveries at the time.
