CORALVILLE, Iowa (AP) - A Coralville man has been charged with knowingly spreading HIV.

Thirty-five-year-old Adam Musser was arrested Sunday on one count of criminal transmission of an infectious disease. He faces up to 25 years in prison.

According to police, Musser told his partner he was disease-free and had unprotected sex in June and July while knowing he was HIV-positive.

He is being held at the Johnson County Jail on $82,500 bail. It was not immediately clear if Musser has an attorney.
