CAPTAIN COOK, Hawaii (AP) - Police say a man found dead in a Captain Cook coffee field was murdered.

Hawaii County police say an autopsy conducted Tuesday determined the man died from sharp and blunt-force head trauma. The manner of death is ruled a homicide.

A woman walking her dogs Sunday morning found the body, which had suspicious head injuries.

The 69-year-old West Hawaii man was identified through fingerprints. But police aren’t releasing his name until family members are notified.

Detectives continue to investigate.
