BETHANY BEACH, Del. (AP) - Fire officials are investigating the cause of a blaze that did $750,000 worth of damage to a waterfront home in Bethany Beach and two adjacent homes.

The State Fire Marshal’s Office says investigators haven’t found anything suspicious about the fire. It started late Wednesday night in the garage of a three-story, wood-frame home on Cove Way.

Fire marshals say neighbors noticed the fire and told two occupants of the house, who got out safely. No one was injured.

Fire marshals say the home was heavily damaged and two adjacent homes were damaged by exposure to heat and smoke.
