DENVER (AP) - A former Front Range Bank executive has acknowledged stealing almost $100,000 from clients between 2009 and 2011.

The Denver Post reports (https://goo.gl/7fST7p ) 43-year-old Candice White, of Centennial, pleaded guilty in federal court Wednesday to two counts of embezzlement. She is scheduled to be sentenced Nov. 3.

Prosecutors say White, who was once senior vice president of the bank, requested cashier’s checks from clients, then withdrew cash from escrow and other accounts. The 39 transfers ranged from $646 to $22,900 and totaled about $93,000.

White resigned in April 2011, but bank officials did not catch onto the missing money until after she had left.

The bank has branches in Centennial, Englewood and Lakewood.
