NEW ORLEANS (AP) - A man charged with crossing state lines in a van stolen from a murdered Reserve couple has pleaded guilty to federal charges.

The U.S Attorney’s Office said in a news release Frank Mike Jr. entered a plea deal Wednesday with federal prosecutors, admitting that in 2014 he drove a mini-van from New Orleans ditched it in a suburban Atlanta parking lot after he learned the van had been taken from Kenneth and Lakeitha Joseph.

The Josephs went missing in February 2014, and their bodies were later found in the Intercoastal Waterway, tied to 30-pound kettlebell weights with nylon rope.

Steven Bradley has been charged in state court with second-degree murder in the Josephs’ deaths.

Mike still faces state charges as an accessory to the murder.
