Man’s body found in basement after Queens residential fire

NEW YORK (AP) - The NYPD says a man’s body was found in the basement after a residential fire was put out in Queens.

Firefighters were called around 6:30 a.m. Thursday to the home in the Glen Oaks neighborhood.

The medical examiner will determine the cause of the 58-year-old man’s death.
