TOLEDO, Ohio (AP) - An Ohio woman charged with aggravated murder in the death of her 6-month-old son is being held on $1 million bond.

Twenty-year-old Ariana Cannon of Toledo is accused of causing skull fractures and other traumatic injuries for her son, Carsyn.

WTOL-TV reports she took the boy to a hospital on Sunday, and he died there Tuesday. Authorities concluded the child’s injuries weren’t accidental.

Cannon had representation from a public defender at her arraignment Thursday, but no specific attorney was listed for her in Toledo Municipal Court records.

The Blade newspaper reports Cannon was silent during her appearance, and her relatives who attended the arraignment refused to comment.
