MIDDLEBURG, Pa. (AP) - A farm worker is dead after falling 70 feet while working on a silo in central Pennsylvania.

The Daily Item of Sunbury reported (https://bit.ly/1J2S04r ) witnesses on the other side of the silo didn’t hear a thing Thursday morning when 32-year-old Moses Kanagy fell to his death at a Middleburg farm.

A fire official tells the paper it appears the Port Royal man died when a section of scaffolding broke.

Crews weren’t wearing safety harnesses.
