Actor Bryan Cranston says Donald Trump would make “a horrible president,” but praised his attitude and candor, calling him a refreshing change of pace in politics and “a surprise benefit to the country.”

“I actually like his candor,” the “Breaking Bad” star told “The Nerdist” host Chris Hardwick, The Hill reported.

“There’s something so refreshing about shaking up that world that is all about being handled,” Mr. Cranston said. “And here comes this loose cannon who has terrible ideas and would be a horrible president, but there’s something great about his ‘I don’t give a s–’ attitude that really kind of keeps others honest. I think it’s a surprise benefit to the country, actually.”

He went on to call the GOP debates “fascinating” and “wonderful.”

“I can’t wait to see these and many more. I hope he stays in for a long, long time and just collapses that whole tent of his,” Mr. Cranston added.
