SPRINGFIELD, Ore. (AP) - Criminal charges have been filed against a Thurston High School teacher accused of sending nude photographs to a student.

The Register-Guard newspaper reports (https://is.gd/0c4xuH ) that 31-year-old Stephanie Rodakowski pleaded not guilty Friday to misdemeanor charges of evidence tampering and endangering the welfare of a minor.

An investigator’s affidavit filed in court in support of an arrest warrant states the teacher admitted under questioning that she had sent nude photographs of herself to a 15-year-old student and kissed the same boy in her classroom.

She’s accused of later ordering him to delete the content she had sent.

The teacher resigned in July after the allegations surfaced.

Rodakowski taught English at Thurston for nearly three years. She is due back in court for a pretrial conference on Sept. 21.
