GLASSBORO, N.J. (AP) - An apartment building on the campus of Rowan University has been evacuated because of a gas leak.

A spokesman for the university says the leak was reported Thursday night at Triad Apartments on the university’s campus in Glassboro.

About 30 students and university staff were displaced.

Officials with the Glassboro Fire Department and South Jersey Gas responded to the apartment building after carbon monoxide alarms went off.

Students and staff were expected to return late Thursday night. The students at Triad were early check-ins. The full student population is scheduled to return next week.
