HOLBROOK, Ariz. (AP) - Navajo County authorities say human skeletal remains found two months ago near Holbrook now have been identified.

County Sheriff’s officials say the remains were located June 14 by two people riding ATVs on Concho Highway.

Authorities announced Friday that the remains have been positively identified as those of 20-year-old Caleb Michael Angel Gill.

He was last seen on the evening of Jan. 19 near his home east of Snowflake.

Sheriff’s officials say investigators don’t suspect any criminal activity surrounding Gill’s death.

They say the positive identification was a collaborative effort from the Navajo County Medical Examiner’s Office, Pima County Office of the Medical Examiner and the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office Crime Lab.
