SPARTA, Wis. (AP) - Fort McCoy has identified an Army reservist who died after being found unresponsive at the Wisconsin training base.

The Army says Staff Sgt. Aida Hernandez was 31 and from Chicago. She was found unresponsive at a camp site where her unit was training Wednesday and taken by base personnel to Sparta Memorial Hospital where she was pronounced dead.

Hernandez was assigned to the 406th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion, based in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

The Army is investigating Hernandez’s death.
