PAWTUCKET, R.I. (AP) - State police say a suspect in a 2013 homicide in Providence has been captured.

The state’s Violent Fugitive Task Force on Friday captured 22-year-old Donnell Kilgore after developing information that he was at a relative’s apartment in Pawtucket. Police entered the apartment Friday morning and took Kilgore into custody without incident.

A murder warrant for Kilgore had been issued on Wednesday.

A second man was arrested on three outstanding warrants.

Providence police say Kilgore is a suspect in the April 2013 shooting death of 19-year-old Demitri Todd. Todd was found on the ground suffering from gunshot wounds outside a car that had crashed into a telephone pole on Hartford Street.
