CANONSBURG, Pa. (AP) - Police say two Pennsylvania teens tackled a man they saw breaking into cars and stealing money and snapped a photo of him in case he escaped before police showed up.

Sixteen-year-old Cameron Fontenot and 15-year-old Cameron Cashdollar say they saw the man shine a flashlight into Cashdollar’s North Strabane Township home at about 2 a.m. Thursday.

The teens say they followed 37-year-old Anthony Adams, of Richlands, Virginia, and saw him entering cars and stealing loose change. They say Fontenot grabbed him, and Cashdollar snapped a photo of Adams during the struggle.

They say Adams offered them some of the money if they would let him go. The teens held down Adams until police arrived.

Adams is jailed. His public defender didn’t immediately return a call seeking comment.
