LAS VEGAS (AP) - Nevada Highway Patrol says a 57-year-old Las Vegas man died after his car overturned on Interstate-15 between Moapa and Mesquite.

The agency said the driver overcorrected his Dodge Durango shortly after 6 a.m. Saturday when he started to travel off the right edge of the road causing the car to roll.

Highway patrol says the man wasn’t wearing his seatbelt and was thrown from the car where he died on the scene.

No other cars were involved in the crash.

The agency says it was the 43rd fatal crash this year.

This story has been corrected to include the day the crash occurred, Saturday not Friday.
