ASHEBORO, N.C. (AP) - The North Carolina Zoo will have all of its exhibits open again this weekend after damage from high winds and hail.

A press release says the Africa region had been closed because of the storm damage, but it’s reopening Saturday.

Earlier this week, several exhibits including the North America region reopened. But the zoo was charging reduced admission since only half of it was open.

Zoo director David Jones praised staff for working hard to remove debris from exhibits, service roads and trails.
