TULSA, Okla. (AP) - A man wanted in Tulsa for the shooting death of a man in July has surrendered after growing weary of being sought by officers.

Police Sgt. Dave Walker says 33-year-old Galon Terrelle Brown surrendered at the Tulsa Jail early Saturday morning.

Brown was wanted for first-degree murder in the July 12 shooting death of Julian Harris during a fight outside a southeast Tulsa apartment complex. Jail records show that Brown is being held without bail and court records do not list an attorney for him.

Walker says Brown told officer that “he was tired of being on the run.”
