STOCKHOLM, Maine (AP) - Maine state police say a Fort Kent woman died in a crash involving two vehicles in Stockholm.

Maine state police say 24-year-old Jessie Bouchard was a passenger in the car that was struck by the driver of a sports utility who failed to stop at a stop sign on Route 161 Friday night.

Bouchard was ejected from the car and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the car that police say failed to stop at the stop sign - 19-year-old Amanda Oullette of Fort Kent - and a passenger were treated at Cary Medical Center and released.

The driver and two other passengers in the car with Bouchard - including a 2-year-old - were hospitalized.

Police are continuing to investigate the crash.
