NEW HAVEN, Conn. (AP) - Police say a 4-year-old girl has died when an SUV carrying eight people overturned in a crash on Interstate 91 in New Haven.

State police said 26-year-old Ross Randon Stanley of New Haven was driving a Mercury Mountaineer northbound when he struck a concrete barrier on the right side of the road just after 9 p.m. Saturday. The car spun across the highway, and rolled on its side.

Kamorah Stanley of West Haven was killed. The driver and six other passengers in the car, including two other children, were taken to hospitals with minor injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
