HAVELOCK, N.C. (AP) - Authorities say a man is facing charges after crashing his truck into a home in Havelock.

WNCT-TV reports (https://bit.ly/1hG89qr ) that the crash happened at around 9:40 p.m. on Saturday.

Witnesses say the man ran a stop sign, cut across the median and crashed into a home. People were inside the home at the time, but authorities say no one was injured.

Police Chief David Magnusson says the driver admitted to drinking and has been charged with running a stop sign and DWI.

The man was airlifted to a hospital, and his name has not been released.
