DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) - Someone who bought a Powerball ticket in the eastern Iowa community of Washburn has won $1 million.

Iowa Lottery officials say the winning ticket in Saturday night’s drawing was purchased at the Pronto convenience store.

The ticket matched the first five numbers but missed the Powerball number.

The store will receive a $1,000 bonus from the lottery for selling the winning ticket.
