ERIE, Pa. (AP) - A 14-year-old boy has been ordered to stand trial in the shooting death of an 18-year-old in northwestern Pennsylvania last month.

The Erie Times-News (https://bit.ly/1TPZgvO ) reports that a district judge in Erie held the youth for trial Monday on all charges including criminal homicide and robbery.

Prosecutors allege that he shot Jacob Pushinsky while trying to steal his bicycle on July 11. Pushinsky would have been a high school senior this fall.

The victim’s 14-year-old brother said he saw the defendant, who he said was a classmate, grab the handlebars of the bike and demand that the victim give it to him.

He said the defendant then pulled a gun from his waistband and shot Pushinsky. Police said they have not recovered the gun used in the shooting.
