FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (AP) - A circuit judge has agreed to a 90-day suspension without pay in connection to a DUI arrest at the Broward County Courthouse.

A Florida Supreme Court filing released Monday shows that Judge Lynn Rosenthal would also receive a public reprimand, 12 hours of legal ethics training and family counseling. The Supreme Court still has to approve the agreement.

The sheriff’s office reports that Rosenthal clipped a deputy’s parked cruiser in the courthouse parking lot in May 2014.

Officials say Rosenthal was in possession of prescription anxiety medication at the time of the crash. A breath test revealed she had not been drinking alcohol.

The South Florida Sun Sentinel (https://goo.gl/c72Nyg ) reports that Rosenthal previously pleaded no contest to reckless driving. Her attorney said Rosenthal had taken an accidental overdose of a prescription sleeping aid the night before the crash.
