TAMPA, Fla. (AP) - More heavy rain storms are causing problems in the already-drenched Tampa Bay area.

Forecasters say another round of potentially heavy thunderstorms could soak the area again on Monday afternoon, following a weekend of off-and-on heavy rain.

The Tampa Tribune (https://bit.ly/1LeSxUQ ) reports flood warnings have been issued for several rivers including the Hillsborough and Alafia River, which are already at or near flood stage.

In Hernando County, the sheriff’s office warned that many roads are closed early Monday due to flooding. They advise motorists to take care when driving in heavy rain.

And in Pasco County, officials say a lightning likely caused a fire that burned unnoticed in a Land O’ Lakes home for some time. The house was a total loss.
