HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) - Hartford police are seeking the public’s health to find a possible hit-and-run driver after a man was found fatally injured in a street.

Deputy Chief Brian Foley said Monday night that the victim was 32-year-old John Gonzalez of Hartford. Gonzalez was found severely injured at 50 King Street just after 11 p.m. Friday. He died Saturday at Hartford Hospital

Foley said investigators believe Gonzalez may have been struck by a vehicle.

Foley asked anyone with information to call police at 860-757-4146 or submit an anonymous tip at the department’s website, https://www.hartford.gov/police.
